Rahm Emanuel - Hatchet man for the Left!

Well now that I have given the President-elect his due congratulations, let me thank him quickly for kicking all of us conservatives in the teeth within 2 days after the election.

Perhaps I just thought Obama said he was going to “reach across the aisle” and work for “bi-partisan solutions” to solve our difficult problems. Maybe I did hear it, and was naive enough to believe it. Whatever the case, he really reached far in choosing Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff for his coming term.

Rahm Emanuel, the hatchet man for the left, is the about as partisan as Attilla the Hun.  He has no interest is working with anyone from the center or right, and will basically put up a wall around access to Obama. Nice job guys…nothing like starting a team with someone from the Chicago Democratic Machine. Who’s next - Tony Resko for housing secretary?

So, while Obama complains of Sean Hannity being too hard on him, we have to have faith in his selection of a man who has had a number of missteps along the way (see Foreign Policy article). In the end all this shows is that Obama wants to play good cop, while Emanuel handles the dirty work for him.
